HiAll,

When I run Nanoroute with globalDetailRoute in Encounter, I got a few warnings like below

#WARNING (NRDB-733) PIN Y in CELL_VIEW top,init does not have physical port
#WARNING (NRDB-733) PIN acc_out[0] in CELL_VIEW top,init does not have physical port

These pins are chip pins on the top module. The rest of pins are fine. I think I treat these pins and other pins same in my code and script. So I have no idea about what these warnings mean.

Any help will be appreciated

Re: Some warnings during NanoRout

any help?

thanks

Hi Greatrebel,

The warning messages means if a top level pin is not logical, that is, it is placed, then it must have some geometries defined.

You may output the def file, the check the PIN Y for something like:
---
+ PIN Y
+ LAYER Mx (x1 y1) (x2 y2)
---

Hi xunuu,

I have found out the informatio about thoes pins in def file like below. Does it mean it is OK for having those warnings.

Thank you very much for your help.

( PIN Y ) ( amp1 Y ) ( IOAOUT_Y AIO )

Hi Greatrebel,

What you pasted comes from NETS section. You need to check PINS section.
