Hi guys,
I am a newer to edaboard, I have met some questions about asic desgin flow, if any of you can help me with these questions, I will appreciate very much!
1).If we want to improve the performance of MCU by upgrading main frequency, explain how to do and what kind of problems we may encounter, and then briefly explain the methods we can used to solve or avoid them.
2).There are two types of design concepts during synthesis and PR: flatten and hierarchical design method. Please try to explain the difference. Also please describe one exclusive application scenario for each of them.
3).For PR, how to decide and set initial density? How the hard macros influence
the initial density?
