some questions about a particular SAR ADC

Hi, all:

According to the SAR ADC circuit below, I can't figure out how this ADC works by adding CS & CATT.
Can anyone give me some hints?

It depends on the timing of the switch. Cs is used to get a equival cap C. The Cs=2C, the serial Cap with Cs should be 2C. You can try to find the correct switch time based on this.
