I am a rookie in digital IC design,and I was preparing in Verilog grammar.So could you tell me some better Compilers used in Windows enviroment. Thanks!!!

Compiler for What? Simulation or Synthesis? Simulation and Synthesis have

different grammar. Enven different Simulation/Synthesis tool have different

grammar.

As far as I know,
1. modelsim;
2. LDV , NT version;
3. Active HDL;
4. Maxplus II
......

You 'd better get modelsim or vcs or ncsim for simulation.
Get Design Compiler or PKS for ASIC synthesis.
Get Synplify or Quartus II(maxplusII) or ISE for Fpga for development.

Thanks! I think I need simulation program, I have download modelsim for my study. but i have no clues on my project, so gloomy.
Excuse me,LDV, VCS means what?
