can any one help me to solve 3 problem of attached file

Applying KCL at Vx:
(50 - Vx)/6 = Vx/7 + 4
or, Vx = 14

In the branch where 4 A is flowing apply Ohm's Law:
Vx = 4A * R
or, 14 = 4R
or, R = 3.5

if answer = A. then Vr = 3.5 X 4 = 14V, then I7 = 2A, then Vdrop6 = 6 X 6 = 36 V. 50 V -36 = 14 V = Vdrop across the mystery resistor so its A.
