will u please help me to design a sensor network in simulink,,,i tried with NS2 ,,,but got some problem while installing ns2,,,so please help me to do the same in simulink,,,

I am beginner in wireless sensor networks, I want to simulate an algorithm based on 'Ensuring coverage and connectivity'. Any help ,which tool should I use , and reference materials please .
