softice dont break on BPX

i got a old win98 computer and i tested the same application on WINXP (service pack 2) and softice wont pop on any api function you set
for exam you try BPX Messageboxa
bpm seems working on XP
bmsg dont work (alsomost important -.-)

is there a way to aktive em somehow ?
