Hello,
I always thought that the idea of a latch is that it allows its output to change state, but then latches in that state.
However, the SN74LVC1G373 clearly does not do this, ...it simply doesnt change its output if the LE pin is taken low.
...That isnt "latching" in the true sense of the term...surely?
The purpose of a patch is to "catch" a short pulse...surely
