I need SMPS output transformer design calculation.
Where should i refer? Please guide me some link or direction.

I am also interested in this. I'm working on an inverter, similar to a car inverter (12VDC to 110VAC/60Hz). I have taken some apart and they all use small transformers... I am still learning about SMPS, but I'm trying to do a PWM h-bridge design. What kind of transformer do I use? What kind are they using? THANKS!

I'm assuming they are using ferrite transformers at a high frequency. How are they getting 400W output @ 115VAC/60Hz, that's (and listed on there user manual) 3.5 A output current.

Hi harii74,
You would get the answers of your questions by referring to some books. 2 books you could refer to are:
"Power Supply Cookbook" - Marty Brown
"Switching Power Supplies Demystified" - Raymond Mack Jr

You could use this site as well:

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.
