SMPS - how to gang 2 smps in series together to increase output voltage ?

I have 2 smps of same make which can separately give 12 V @ 6A and 5 V @ 10A .
Now I want to connect them in series so that I get 17 V @ 6 A ? Is this possible ?
 

I think you cannot do this, if are powering both SMPS from same voltage source. lets see what the experts say ! goodluck..=)
 

If these are isolated and regulated, it should work. It's like stacking two batteries to get the sum of their voltages...as long as you don't draw more current than the lower current supply can provide.
