Hello all,

I am trying to design a SMPS for output of 5v/1A bur dont know how to start with. I've seen some tutorials for that. SMPS include various stages like EMI filter, PFC circuit etc., what are the parameters to design that.

Most importantly I need very small size transformer to design my circuit. I asked the vendor but he said that I need to give full specifications to design that trnasformer. So which are the important parameters for the ferrite core transformers to design?
Can anyone tell me?

For EE 3512A type of core
A = 34.3mm B = 26mm
C = 141mm D = 98mm
E = 9.3mm F = 12.7mm.
The core area is given by
