I had diode in SOD package(Glass). No marking

It seems to be a rectifier (conclusion by circuit).

Is there any way to find out ?

Any inputs / ideas will be useful

For checking for normal diode or zener diode

Put high series resistor and connect across variable DC source(Cathode to positive). Increase dc voltage till voltage across the diode get constant. If the voltage across the diode is getting constant then it is a zener diode
