what is the difference between SMALL SIGNAL SCHOTTKY DIODE vs normal scottky 5819

and what are the applications of SMALL SIGNAL SCHOTTKY DIODE and current handaling capacity

small signal schottky probably has less capacitance.
Obviously also less current handling capability
BAT54 is a small signal schottky that gets used in signal circuits commonly.
Its oviously in a smaller package, so less space on the pcb.

Of course, for really low capacitance, and really low reverse leakage current , people use "small signal silican diodes" and not schottkys, these tend to have superfast reverse recovey times of about 4ns or less, and really low device capacitance., and really low reverse leakage current.

Of course, for really low capacitance, and really low reverse leakage current , people use "small signal silican diodes" and not schottkys.
For really low capacitance and high frequency applications, people use real low capacitance & low voltage schottky. BAT54 is still quite a large chip with 200 mA current rating.
