dear friends..
I need help with my design...This is my information of my design:
1) I have designed 90° hybrid coupler at 2.4GHz,that consist of 4 port.The isolation between port 1 and port4 is about -3dB.
-> S21=231=3dB
-> S11=S41=-40dB
->phase different between port 2 and port 3 is 90°
And perhaps it would work when i integrate it with RF/LO and diode mixer (HSMS8101)
2) I have integrated all of those components.At
port 1 :i have represent RF signal power source at 10dBM at 2.4 GHz and at
port 4:I have represent LO with power source at 10dBm at 2.4 GHz.Since i need to implement it for zero-IF receiver the frequency that I set is the same.
Port 2 and port 3: i connected it to single diode that parallel with each other and terminated at 50ohm at each end.
3) My problem is..when i done with circuit simulation with harmonic balanced,
i) When i meaasure output level that come out form RF/LO at port 1 and port 4 is not 10dBm anymore.What happen to the source?i got about 5.8dBm is far from the generated input source of 10 dBM..Is it measurement is ok?
ii) Another problem is...when i measure connection of diode at the other end..the phase different output from diode 1 and diode 2 is not 90° anymore..Can anybody help me and suggest me how to solve this thing and is this simulation is valid?
iii) My aim for this project is to get I &Q simulation result at both end...so i'think it is important to have 90° phase different after pass by the diode mixer . Can anybody help me with suggestion for my project.
