Hello
I'm looking for a chip which can generate a sine wave with frequencies between 30MHz to 100MHz.
On the other hand, frequency should be controlable & accurate.
please help me

Hello,

You can use a digital direct synthesizer. Some of them have integrated LUT (Look up tables) with sine wave function. Analog Devices has many models, this "expensive beast" may fit your application AD9858BSVZ!
Hope it helps,

Ernest

The name of the chip is Frequency Synthesizer, and there are a lot of manufacturers making it.
One example is the common LMX2346 from National.

Actually, many DDS have their own integrated sine generator (converting angle to amplitude) which will make it easier. AD9910 may work for you and is less expensive than the AD9858...

If you select DDS, you should consider power consumption. AD9858 can be hotter, and AD9912 is better on power consumption.

thanks for your answer
