Hi All!

A am a newbie in Simulink & Matlab programming, but I need to implement QAM64 modem in FPGA.
The task is - do digital mixind I&Q channels in transmitter for sending it to DAC, then separate its in receiver after ADC.

I found the HDL optimized model https://www.mathworks.com/help/comm/examples/hdl-optimized-qam-transmitter-and-receiver.html

But I have some problems:

The output of the transmitter and input of the receiver have a complex input - not real, and I have NOT found any digital mixing in the transmitter!!!
But as we can see, there is a NCO based block estimating phase offset where signal is multiplied with the complex exp.

Thanks!!!
