Simulink Convolution block, generation polynomial

With reference to this help in Matlab, "How to Determine Coding Parameters" section:

It explains how to obtain the code generator polynomials. It gives the example of obtaining the 2nd row 3rd column element which is 1011 = 13 (octal)

It also says that the elements in the polynomial matrix can b obtained by summing up the binary numbers that contribute to the respective outputs. For eg: 1st row 1st column element would b to sum up the binary numbers contributed by the 1st input to the 1st output.

Here's my question:

The polynomial matrix given in the site says its [27 33 0;0 5 13]. However, based on the diagram, isn't the 1st output contributed by the 1st input = 10011 = 23 (octal)??
And the 1st row 2nd element answer = 11101 = 35 (octal) ??

The answer i got is [23 35 0; 0 5 13]. I got my 2nd row answer correct, but my 1st row answer is wrong.

What's the problem?
