Simulator for embedded C code of 89C51 controller

need a simulator

I have completed coding in embeded C for my 89C51 controller for an application! I am on look for a simulator now! Simulator in the sense i can test the code operation with sample inputs and see whats the output according to my program! Is there any software available like that? if yes, please guide me!

yuo can try to use ' keil C51 development tools'

serch it in google and you will find a restricted version.

also there is an ide from raisonance and another from rigel.
just search the web for these :" rigel 8051" and "raisonance 8051"

In your opinion is it possible to simulate a MCU using a VHDL simulator?

to be clear: I know that there are common vhdl source codes to implement a MCU as 8051. so using a vhdl simulator in theory i think you can simulate 8051 behaviour.

Is this a possible thing or are there unsormontable problems?

Kiel is a very good one for both assebmly level or high level language like C

Freeware JSIM51 is a powerful tool for software development with 8051-Controllers and it's derivatives.
The program simulates the processor kernel and some of the hardware functions.
