The circuit is basically wrong. You can't control an NMOS switch in a buck converter with a ground referenced square
wave. You need a level translation. Consult existing buck converter example circuits for reference , if you don't
recognize the problem in your design.
For simulation purposes, you can simply connect the gate drive voltage between source and gate.
