[PIC] SIM908 Problem urgent solution needed!!!

Hey Guys, whenever I enter commands like AT, ATE0, AT+CMGF, it response well (OK) but whenever I enter commands like AT+CMGR , AT+CLIP and more the module returns ERROR, what is Happening?

AT+CMGF = 1

I think you need to read AT command format.If you want read msg try to know the message indexing AT+CMGL="ALL" <ENTER>
then AT+CMGR=2 <ENTER>

you need use proper formatting and steps.

first of all ensure your sim was properly inserted and was acknowleged by the modem.

secondly at+cmgr=1 is to read the first message that was received..if u havnt received any message than it will give an error....so to ensure send one message to that number and use this at command..it wont give an error

Marthoma, if there is no message the module is eXpected to reply Ok and not Error. ...can anyone tell me what ME functionality means in GSM module
