sim900 ATD*101#; problem

ATS0=2
ATS0=3
all reply an Error.
Every thing else is working fine.

Is full RS232 connection needed? to update firmware.all 9 pins used?)
or just simple rx and tx can do it.?

I suffer the same problem with me "USSD" is always a Error
(AT+CUSD = 1, * 600 #
+CME ERROR: no network service)
Reached a solution that we prefer it
