Sim808 and 3G network?

Can I use sim808 with 3G network in Australia? Thanks
 

Yes of course.
But it will only work on the 850/ 900Mhz bands, and not the 2100Mhz. As I am sure you have already found out. And which could be a huge disadvantage considering that all the major operators use 2100
