sim340c

Hi guys, sorry for my english...I have a problems with SIM340C hardware reset. I have conected a SIM340C with a 8 bit microcontroller and manage POWERKEY and STATUS lines with I/O lines. But I never make a hardware reset, I try with several times in POWERKEY line, but I never detect a low level in STATUS line. Now if I send the AT command CPOWD ( software power-down ) the STATUS lines go to low level.
Thanks in advance !

sim340c microcontroller

hi
maybe you configuration in micro's I/O is not correct
use npn transistor between module & micro , it's better :D

Hi, if you are use 5v to supply your microcontroller then you need a 5v in the pin you are sense the STATUS line, and the sim340 only supply 3.6v at STATUS line, use a transistor as sabeti say.
