This output is logged on terminal in 10 seconds.. It seems the module is restarting again n again..
I make the call to the SIM number and i get "The number you are dialing is not responding at the moment"
So where is the problem!! i have 4 modules.. all of them showing same behavior..
i also have the same problem.
i have a 12v 500mA power adapter. but the sim300 can afford a voltage of 3.9-4.2v(suggested by the manufacturer) so i used a 7805 followed by a 1N4148 diode. and regulated the voltage to aroun 4.2V.
but the sim300 is restarting and the initial messages are seen after 10 sec. how can i avoid this?
i'm also facing this same problem... will u please let me know if ur problem got solved and how??
i really appreciate any help... kindly help me... im stuck with this problem for 4 days... please help me...

i have tried using lm317t with output regulated to 3.82v and im using a transformer of 12v/1000mA... still getting the same issue...

The power supply range of SIM300 is from 3.4V to 4.5V. The transmitting burst will cause voltage drop and the
power supply must be able to provide sufficient current up to 2A. For the VBAT input, a bypass capacitor (low
ESR) such as a 100 μF is strongly recommended; this capacitor should be placed as close as possible to SIM900
VBAT pins.
I suggest you to use LM2956-ADJ .
dear sir,
so u mean the restarting problem is bcoz my power supply is not able to provide 2A? im using "SIM300 module with TTL" bought from NSK electronics... actually i've tried using 2A supply too... still not work
