Hello...

I am using Simcom SIM900A module i have connected usb to serial cable with PC to SIM 900A module, when i am trying to interface sim900a directly with PC in hyper terminal but not getting reply. what to do ?

Did you connect RS232 level signals to the module? That doesn't work.

Use either USB-to-serial bridge with TTL (3.3V logic level) signals or a RS232 to 3.3V level converter between USB adapter and module. Evaluation boards may be already equipped with a level converter.
