Silvaco, difference between "qty.m and qtx.m" and "qtregion"

Hi everyone,

I am using atlas now and I want to use two tunnel diode in one structure. I have found "qtregion" a good choice but I am not sure how and when I can use it and what in its difference from "qtx.m"?
Can anyone help me PLZ???
