Hi,

Any expert can tell what is the setting in rules that to fix “auto routing” do not route with short circuit? I got play around “short-circuit” rule but result still routed with few short circuit wires, maybe I set it wrong, any one can guide how to set correct rule to prevent this ?

Thanks.

It should never happen unless you have got the boxed ticked saying allow short circuits in the rules editor or your board has not been fully auto-routed if this is the case the when you click auto route look towards the bottom where you click auto route tick the box rip up violations after routing

In rules setting:

ShortCircuit – box un-tick
UnroutedNet – box un-tick
Rip up violations after routing – box tick

Result after routed:
Contentions =2, Failed to routed = 0 , 100% finished.

Under “Design Rule Check” report:
Short Circuit = 0
Un-routed Net – 0

Physically found one net un-route, why this will happen?
What it mean “Contentions =2” under completion report?

Thanks.
