clipped sine wave

I am having problem in counting the period/frequency of clipped sine wave;
can any one suggest pulse shaping circuitry so that i can measure frequency;

Specially I had problem in calculating frequency deviation in flow measurement using ultrasound;

clipped sine wave+square wave

Try Schmitt gates ..
Here are some details:

FIRST OF ALL,
THANKS A LOT FOR LENDING HELPING HANDS.

I THINK I COULD NOT MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND GUYS!!!

AS SHOWN IN ATTACHED FILE I HAVE CLIPPED SINE WAVE AND I HAVE TO CONVERT IT TO SQUARE WAVE FOR COUNTING ITS WAVE'S FREQUENCY.

ANY IDEA GUYS??????@?!

CAN YOU HELP WITH THIS IanP????????????

clipped sine to square wave

Feed this signal through a cap to cut-off dc, then, using a comparator, convert it to TTL/CMOS levels ..

Yes,I have noted this circuit in the same website;
can i use any opamp instead of 1/2 TLC93
TLV2470;
So, I have not tried it yet....

the input wave is very fast(40khz) so I am afraid whether comparator can switch on same speed and on the other hand i am finding difficulty in obtaining square wave as i mentioned earlier
