Hello
Please anyone tell me Can I use this IR circuit to send and receive serial port data (tx,rx) between the computer and dish receiver :

ir.JPG

receiving is problem with this circuite, because TSOP Rx is connected direct to RX on DSUB 9pin PC connector!
Some data manipulation must be taken on rx signal! So This pin must be connected to MCU and then decoded and send to PC serial port....

what "dish receiver" you mean.... Main problem is in SW not in HW!
If you search some solution you must be more specific! Not only few words!!

OK , thanks
I mean that i use the sat receiver (not dish sorry) and my computer for the sharing with cccam servers to open the crypted channels !!
for this operation a cross db9 cable is needed and i want to replace the cable with a infrared tx/rx.

IR modulated like in TV remote controls are very SLOW! So I think it's problem to replace rs232 with IR! If you want to use IrDA instead of modulated IR then distance between transceivers is very pure!
anyway search on google:
"cable replacement rs232 with infrared transceiver"
I found this:
