interfacing with hardware by serialport in .net

hi, i plan to write a software a terminal program for sending the data from my hardware to PC using the serial port in my PC.. Any programing language recommended? i GOT some basic of VB, izit VB6 will b a good choise for writing the window programing ?And how are I going to achieve that? Thanks...

Hi,

I think C is a good programming language for this process.
But you have basic of VB,you should try with it.
It is more better than by learning next language.
I think you can search sourcecodes in net.

I used VB 6.0 for same kind of purpose.

Its not very tough ,if u have basics of VB.
