Hello.

Anyone experienced with TOSHIBA TOSLink?

I am trying to Send data from Microcontroller (AT91SAM7S64) to PC COM Port using TOSLink Optical Fiber.

I am using TOTX147 Transmitter and TORX147 Receiver Module. My Connection is like below:

MCU TXD ----------> TOTX147 VIN
TORX147 VOUT ----------> PC COM Port (through MAX232 circuit)

MCU is sending data "HELLO" every 1 sec interval (with 115200 Baud). But at Receiving end (PC end) I am not getting actual Data. I am getting ERROR data every 1 sec interval.

Anyone can advice about my connection? Will I need to use any extra circuit like Pull-Up or Logic Level Converter?

Regards.
Sakibnaz.
