sentry toy gun, need idea how to track body or head

i want to build a sentry toy gun to spook my freind,
i wonder how can i build a tracking body or a head circuit,
if you have idea plz let my know,
i want to use pic microchip.

a pic microchip is a mini computer, so your question is just like saying I want to use a computer to to build a sentry toy gun to spook my friend,
i wonder how can i build a tracking body or a head circuit. It is going to take a lot of programming and a camera interfaced with the pic to make that kind of a "toy." Good luck.

i thought ther be a solotion without a camera, maybe a ir termometer.
my strong side is electronic not a programer,

you may be able to fake it with the gun set to point at one location when some event happens and go back to resting position when event not happeniing or after timer. Could use a pressure pad, motion detector, or ultrasonic rangefinder.
