Hi,
I have a sensor board that measure flow by detecting the float level. The float is made up of magnet and so I am suspecting that the sensor if hall effect. The reading is intermittent on the display.

1. I would like to remove the copper like shield (see red rectangle) so that I can see the marking. But after knowing the correct sensor part number and install back the shield, will the sensing accuracy performance be affected? WHat is the purpose of that shield?
2. Please help me identify what is the sensor or link I can start my search.

we don't know what the sensor is, what the circuit is, or anything else. how do you expect us to know what is going to affect the accuracy???
