Sending UDP broadcast packets using Ethernut

Ethernut UDP packet

Hi All,
I use Ethernut OS with ethernet modul Charon II. I need to send UDP broadcast packets but I am not able to send more than eighteen bytes .
Doesn´t somebody some experience with it? Ethernut, UDP and broadcast packets?
