This Tesla coil has an interrupter, in which two output ucc37321/ucc37322 were added. Filling the control impulse was limited to 70% in order to protect the transistors from exploding. Moreover, the lightning looks best when it is below 60% .
After that a really bright arc lights up.
To ensure proper operation, you should use pipe of 4mm wall.
