How can I begin learning Semiconductors and Electronic Devices?

First make sure that you know some circuit theory -- a good book for this is Hayt and Kemmerly "Engineering Circuit Analysis". Once you understand this, I suggest you start taking a look at Sedra & Smith "Microelectronic Circuits"

there are many good books -- actually you can find most of this on the web as well.

Just start with a few books first -- you don't need ten books -- just one or two is good enough and you can supplement those books with additional material from the web.
