metal locator circuits

here is a design for a tesoro of the usa metal detector

this italian/american company produced it several decades ago

i made this design several years ago
for a pal who runs a school electronics class
i used lochmaster {brillient vero tool}

and it was built successfully by 30 students that year
and is still being used

its an all vero board project

the differance being this units front end is in the coil head
this cuts down on cable loss and makes the detector
increadably more sensative {3 times more }

see's a gold ring three feet down in sand
but this design is sensative to ringpulls

no matter
gold can look like a ring pull too... no matter what detector
and it works better than any 400 euro pulse induction type
except under water where it has problems {salt water}

take a look anyway
a good one for the kids to build {and the bigger kids hehe} hehe

...:D
