Hello,

I am simulating low pass filter in ADS, i can able to achieve good attenuation in stop band but doubt my is there are some peaks while transitioning(steeper graph) from pass band to stop band, i guess these peaks are self resonance how can i reduce this peaks in ADS?

Chebyshev filters exhibit several odd peaks and troughs. Articles speak of polynomials associated with this type. Since the math it's derived from is more complicated, I guess the resulting graph has a distinctive pattern of peaks and troughs.

How to eliminate hormonics in low pass filter design in stop.

Still waiting for a picture of designed and observed transfer function.

There's nothing special about Chebyshev, it just means that the filter is designed with equiripple transfer function, either in passband (type I) or stopband (type II).
