i'm going to use 2 inputs,PIC and output as lcd display..what is the suitable PIC i can use in this situation?any idea?
thank you..

I presume you are asking for the minimum core family which can fit to your need.
In order to give you some answer, lacks more details:

  • Graphics or Character display ?
  • Parallel interfacing ? Serial interfacing ?
  • If a Character type, parallel access, for 4-bit or 8-bit mode ?
  • Which core family ? ( 16F / 18F / etc... )

Even you providing the answer, a lot of P/N options could do that.

Hi,

Assume you mean a typical 16x2 lcd ?

Popular chips like the 16F628A or the better 16F88 will meet your basic needs.

Something like the popular 16F877A will allow for lots more functions/ inputs/outputs.

I say 'popular' because they are readily available, lo cost and featured in many web based diy projects.

Also mention which programming language you are going to use ..
