can any one help me in selecting a pull up/pull down resistor value

for which application ? would you draw a circuit if possible ?
In general , you have to select the value of the resistor so that the current doesnt excced a certain value.

Hi
4.7K - 10K is a typical value.
but in particular application maybe other.
regards

it depends on many things, such as allowed current, voltage head-room, and noise, and some other parameters all depend on application..

Hope that helps,
Ahmad

Can you send your schematic or give an explanation of your circuit please?

Thanks

El-Hadidy

There is no universal solution/calculation for every circuit. You must give your specific circuit.

the resistor will be ur current limiter , i.e. it depends on the current to be drawn , and keep in mind not to exceed the maximum current provided by ur source
