Hello
We manucture microcontroller based system, we are giving our product design to our client to manufacutre and sell in the market as royalty basis.
We want to track our client that how many system they are manufacturing in a year. We can insist our client to purchase a key( security chip) from us.
can you suggest any idea for this applicaiton?

Re: Security chip

Hi

This is hard thing to manage - the best way is to seal the controller and gave your clint an allready programmed chips

other wise you will need to look into your client books - he probably don't like to do that

Or purely to turst your clint to be an "honest" person for the sale report he gave you

All the best

Bobi
