Hi Everyone,

I wanted to understand how to select storage of SDCard (1GB,2GB..)?
How to select it?

...another one with wallet:

If your wallet is too small for your cash, you need to use a bigger one. ;-)

Depends on your application, your question needs more detail about
your use and intended application.

If you are datalogging card speed grade basically direct relationship to
your # channels, sampling rate, and data packet size for each sample.

Simple math will get you there. Then you make another calculation of
how much you want to log, to pick its size.

There are also power consideration if you are trying to do real low power
design.

Lastly a consideration for card storage lifetime and # allowed write cycles
limitation.

Beware that older OSes seem to have a hard limit
on SD card size, my lab WinXP computer can't
read or write to 256GB SD cards but is fine with
4GB (where the "cliff" is, I can't say any finer than
that). Another same model with Win7Pro doesn't
balk at higher data volume cards.

Choose the size of your SD card based on the amount of data you need to store.
