Hi all, my daughter broke the memory board of her camera. Small the switch of Write protect was lost and now one cannot write any more above. Does somebody have to you it a schematic of this type of memory? How to force the writing of the memory ?

Transcend SD 64 MB

Thanks in advance for your help,
Paul.

try to recognise its (write protect switch) pads and guess connection , then solder accordingly . Photo does not cover switch connection side .

There is no eletrical protect switch on card . Actually the switch is on the socket . All you need to do is to fill the original switch localtion with some kind of plastic material . So this can avoid the socket's switch to close . Something like the earphone jack switch.

Put the SD Card back together. Fill the gap where the switch was with epoxy.
