Schottky diode has reverse recovery?

Hello,
Do you know why this Schottky has a reverse recovery time of 35ns?...Schottkys are not supposed to have reverse recovery

Theoretically they don't have reverse recovery (no minority charge carriers), practically they have non-linear junction capacitance which causes a current waveform that isn't very different from a bipolar junction diode. See also this previous thread https://www.edaboard.com/threads/187271/

thanks, its bizarre though that some 250v power schottkys come with a trr time (like the one in the top post), and others don't...eg, this one doesn't come with a trr time..

so can we assume DGS 19 has no reverse recovery?

I think this is what Mr Wiki was talking about, viz high voltage Schottky which need the guard ring but do not specify its Trr on the diodes spec.
