Hi,

Maybe you could use the CP2101 of Silicon Laboratories.

Here is the datasheet. It have the aplication circuit, it's realy easy to use.

FT232R is a very good one. No crystal required just like the CP2101. More expensive though.

The CP210x is very good, but for DIY fans the package is hard to handle.

I am also using cp2101 to convert USB to Serial.....
i have designed the PCB according to the circuit.......
But now i want to kw whether It(CP2101) will need a progarm to run or will do it do it directly...
if it needs a program please send me

This IC need a driver that create a virtual COM port. This driver is in here:

https://www.silabs.com/tgwWebApp/public/web_content/products/Microcontrollers/USB/en/mcu_vcp.htm

Added: The driver is for the pc to create the virtual COM.

CP210x default is ready to go.
However you do be able to change some of the staff. But if you don't, it is fine.
