Here is schematic for midland 13-892 it should be close.

ok, thought the schematics would say what values these coils had.

I have the metal housing from the old trimming coil. But must of the numbers are gone. It says 3? on the first line and 450???? on the next. The brand is Mitsumi. The pcb says L-3.

I think it is called a variable inductor.

It's the square metal component in the image.

The RF coils aren't necessarily catalog parts. It might be necessary to make a spare part on your own.

You didn't mentioned what the problem is. I thought you just wanted the schematic.

Look on Mods DK web site, best source for parts is an old crashe radio, the Service manual is the book you want to get value/mfgrs part No. or supplier
