schematics for stolz's icd2...

plz post schematics for stolz s icd2...
i am confused there are many variety which one is working and which one is not...
in some ckt i have seen two ics 7805 coupled with 7808 to get 13volts in some....... it says the max 232 is configured to do dat..... which one is good plz assist

and the difference b/w using 876 876a and 877..i prefer 877 but the ckt is not avaliable and the boot loader for that too...

another main thing..is why many people are prefering the icd2 with 18f4550 IC...
AND WAT IS THE BIG DIFFERENCE B/W THE TWO.....
