touch screen sbc
Hello
I have a control application to do for a fishing vessel. The hardware control part is ok for me. ( USB in to my MCU system from a pc and some relays to operate and some data to be read and fed through USB to host PC)
I am looking for some info on how to make this LCD touchscreen PC.
What we call industrial PC is one option,-costly.
I am planning to use a PC104 SBC and connect it to a LCD panel with touch screen.
What are the pros and cons if any for such a plan?
I think we can load XP embedded or Win CE in that board.
Is there any linux possibilities and if any, which is the development tool we can use in linux, like we use C# in XP to develop front end for a control application?
