Instead of printing the schematic you can save the PostScript printer file to the disk. With the Unix/Linux tool ps2pdf you can convert it into a PDF file.
I've never been able to get an .eps or .ps file out of Cadence, that
most viewers / image editors don't call"malformed". The file comes
out, there is evidently content, but there's something wrong in the
details.
