SATA iii phy chip but not with PCI/PCIe interface for FPGA

I am looking for a Sata iii PHY chip to connect to my FPGA board, but not with PCI/PCIe interface.

There are many Sata PHYs in market but all have PCI/PCIe interface and my fpga does not has one.
My fpga does not even have GTX like high speed serial IOs

Is there any Sata PHY in market that I can use with free LVDS I/O pins on my FPGA.

Something like: a LVDS parallel bus to SATA iii phy

Even a ~6 Gbps Serializer/De-Serializer chip will help with 8b-10 b encoding

Most SerDes including from TI are targated for 10g ethernet and do support 8b 10b encoding ...
sata iii also uses 6 Gbps 8b 10b encoding ..
so can I use ethernet serdes for sata

Did a quick check on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_ATA#SATA_1.5_Gbit.2Fs_and_SATA_6_Gbit.2Fs Search for section 4.1 Physical layer and it mentions that the links are LVDS. So no the TI solution won't work.

You should just use an 8b10b encoder/decoder and connect directly to the LVDS on the FPGA (if the FPGA you're using supports LVDS).
